Rachel Rose Farber is a lyric-coloratura soprano and violinist, a life-long musician with many years of solo, orchestral, and choral experience. She has been a member of The Soldiers' Chorus of the United States Army Field Band since 2010 and has spent many years traveling the globe with this fine ensemble. She is grateful to serve her country through music. Recent highlights include performing the title role in "The Falling and the Rising" at Nickel City Opera and classical recitals throughout the Baltimore-Washington region. She brings a diverse background of musical performances across multiple venues and settings. 

She has been teaching singing and violin for over 20 years. She loves guiding others through the magic of music, often working holistically. She also works as a Therapeutic Musician in senior centers. Beyond the studio and stage, she is a devoted animal advocate, writer, language enthusiast, and hobby painter.

She holds a Master of Liberal Arts, summa cum laude, from The Johns Hopkins University (2017), and a Bachelor of Music, magna cum laude, from SUNY Purchase, Conservatory of Music in voice/opera (2008). She is a Registered Suzuki violin teacher. She holds certificates in yoga, animal studies, TESOL, sound therapy, and plant-based nutrition through the T Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. 

She studied voice with Roberta Cunningham, Neil Semer, Russ Penney, Susan Ricci-Rogel, and violin with Sandra Miller.
